Court extends date for hearing Atram's bail plea
Pune, Sep 4 (UNI) Additional Sessions Judge S B Patil today extended the date of hearing on the bail plea of former Maharashtra Minister Dharmarao Baba Atram, accused in the Chinkara Poaching case, and fixed the next hearing on September 6.
Mr Atram had approached the sessions court and filed his bail application on Septmber 1, after his bail plea was rejected by the Saswad court.
Mr Atram, who is presently lodged in Yerawada jail, was arrested last week by Bhor forest officials and remanded to 14-day Judicial Custody by the Saswad court.
He was earlier admitted to the government-run Sassoon Hospital, after complaning of chest pain and later discharged on September 2 and sent to jail.
