Nashik, Sep 4: Police have registered cases against 21 people in connection with a clash between two groups, that led to chaos at the District Civil Hospital here, last evening.

According to police, two groups -- one led by Rahul Donde and the other by Rajendra Dahide clashed earlier, following a minor dispute over a board in Milindnagar area of the city, injuring two people from the formers group.

Last evening some youth of the group led by Rajendra Dahide allegedly pelted stones at the District Civil Hospital, where the two injured were being treated, injuring a nurse. The youth allegedly also damaged some medical material at the Hospital, police said.

Case has been registered against 13 people of Dahide group and eight people of the Donde group, police said.

The reason for the clash seems to be political as Donde belongs to Bharip Bahujan Mahasangh and Dahide belongs to the Bahujan Samaj Party, police added.
