Hyderabad, Sep 4 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today flagged off two trucks of bed-sheets from the Assembly premises for the flood-victims of Bihar.
Talking to newspersons here, Dr Reddy announced that one lakh bed-sheets would be sent in eight trucks to Bihar. Four more trucks of bed-sheets would leave for Bihar tomorrow, followed by another two trucks, the day-after.
The Chief Minister said in total, one lakh bedsheets worth 1.60 crore were being sent. Since, there was a demand for 108 ambulances from Bihar, 20 such ambulances would be sent, if possible today itself. If needed, more ambulances would be sent, he added.
