{image-singur nano plant_03092008.jpg news.oneindia.in}New Delhi, Sep 3: Expressing concern over the suspension of work by Tata Motors at Nano plant in Singur, Heavy Industry Minister Santosh Mohan on Wednesday, Sep 3 said the matter was not handled properly.

"It is not clear whether the problem was from the government side or from the Tata's side,'' the Minister said, adding that the matter was not handled properly. He said he will intervene into the matter only if he asked to, mentioning, ''if Tata wants we are ready to offer help.'' Falling victim to political movement, Tata Motors on Tuesday, Sep 2 announced to relocate its Nano plant from Singur and roll out the world's cheapest car from an alternate facility.

The company, which indefinitely stopped work at the Singur project on August 29 following a 'lay-siege' programme by Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee, also officially announced suspension of work.
