Fake notes worth Rs 8,000 seized in Nashik
Nashik, Sep 3: Police have seized additional fake currency worth Rs 8,000 of Rs 100 denomination from the house of the one of arrested accused, Kailas Gurav, on Tuesday, Sep 2.
A team of Nashik police raided Gurav's house in Dhule and seized 80 fake notes of Rs 100 denomination and a scanner, sources said on Wednesday, Sep 3.
Earlier on August 31, police had seized fake currency worth Rs 4,100 and arrested Dr Sanjay Gaykhe, Sayyad Abdul Shaikh, Shaikh Shakur Gazi and Siddharth Rupwate, besides Gurav, in this connection. They are currently in police custody till September 5. Search for their aides is on, sources added.
