Chandigarh, Sep 3 (UNI) The opposition INLD created ruckus in the Haryana assembly for the third today over the presentation of a special report of the priveleges committee which recommended that INLD chief Om Prakash Chautala be reprimanded in the House for disrespect and disobedience of the committee.
The Speaker named as many as five INLD members to be taken out of the House when they shouted slogans over the issue and stalled the proceedings while two others later walked out. Mr Chautala was not present in the House today.
The issue came up during the Zero Hour when Dr Sushil Kumar Indora said the presentation of the report against Mr Chautala yesterday was unconstitutional as it could not be tabled under Rule 218. The report was presented yesterday as the INLD members had stalled it on Monday when it was to be presented.
While Speaker Raghuvir Singh Kadian and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Randeep Singh Surjewala pointed out that the report was still under consideration of the House, the INLD members continued slogan shouting and came in the well of the House.
The Speaker meanwhile asked Dr Sita Ram (INLD) to take up his Calling Attention Motion on incidence of malaria, dengue and other diseases in the state.
The INLD members however continued shouting slogans following which the Speaker named five party members--Sushil Indora, Balwant Sadhaura, Ishwar Plaka, Shahida Khan and Ramphal Chidana--to be taken out of the House. Another INLD member Gian Chand later walked out.
Dr Sita Ram, after his calling attention motion was taken up, also walked out of the House in protest.
