Woman naxal arrested in UP
Sonebhadra, Sep 2 (UNI) The Special Operation Group of Uttar Pradesh police along with local sleuths today apprehended a woman naxalite, carrying a bounty of Rs 2,500, from this naxal-hit district of the state.
The team cordoned off the area near Raipur colony and arrested Nirmala alias Bitni, said to be the wife of naxal Ram Vraksh, police said.
The arrest was made when the outlaw was coming to Baijnath village along with her minor child.
Nirmala was accused in more than six criminal cases of murder and loot.
Sonebhadra, Mirzapur and Chandauli are the three naxal-affected districts in UP.
