Woman killed by DTC on BRT corridor
New Delhi, Sep 2 (UNI) In yet another accident involving the controversial Bus Rapid Transport (BRT) corridor, a 30-year-old woman died after being hit by a DTC bus this morning in Ambedkar Nagar area of South Delhi.
The woman, who is yet to be identified, was crossing the road when the bus, plying on route number 423, hit her, said the police.
The accident took place at about 1000 hrs and involved the newly introduced low-floor DTC bus.
The driver of the bus was later beaten up by the local people and had to be admitted to the AIIMS.
