T20 cricket tournament to be held in Sirsa from Sep 5

Chandigarh, Sept 2 (UNI) All preparations were complete for holding a international T20 cricket tournament, JCD ICL from September 5 at , at JCD Vidyapeeth Sirsa on Friday, JCDNCA president, Digvijay Singh said here today.

Addressing media persons here today, Mr Singh said, Pakistan cricketer Waqar Younis, Pakistan Industrialist, Shahjaad Al Khan and former Haryana chief minister Om Parkash Chautala would inaugurate the JCD International Cricket League (JCD ICL), an international Twenty-20 cricket tournament.

Many national and international players besides the sports lovers would also participate in the function. Punjab Chief Minister, Sardar Prakash Singh Badal would be chief guest on the closing ceremony and distribute prizes to the winner teams.

All preparations has been completed and special laser show would be organised apart from the international level fire works. DD sports has already conveyed its consent to cover the inaugural match, semi-finals&Final matches live, he said.
