The car, equipped with new one-litre petrol engine, will make its debut in the country within a few weeks and then enter the European market early next year. While A-Star's one-lakh units would be exported to Europe, 50,000 units will be sold in the domestic market. The car will add on to the company's existing six-model line-up in the small car segment.
In order to scale up its exports, the company is also investing to set up a car terminal at Mundra port.
Besides, the company also plans to launch another World Strategic model, Splash in the A2 segment by the next year.
