HDFC Mutual Fund emerges second largest MF in India in Aug
Mumbai, Sep 2 (UNI) HDFC Mutual Fund today said that its average Assets Under Management (AUM) had peaked to Rs 53,858,63 crore in August, making it the second largest mutual fund in the country after Reliance.
In a press release issued here today, it said only a couple of months ago it had moved to the third position in the industry from fourth.
The average AUM of top four players for the month of August 2008 was Reliance - Rs 88,616.46 crore, HDFC MF - Rs 53,858.63 crore, Prudential ICICI - Rs 53,092.78 crore, and UTI - Rs 46,947.32 crore.
