Four TNAU students awarded GSEP by Canada University
Coimbatore, Sep 2 (UNI) Four medical students of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) were awarded Graduate Student Exchange Programme (GSEP) Fellowship by the Canadian Bureau of International Education to carry out their research in the University of Saskatchewan.
In a press release here today, TNAU said Ms Parameswari will work on 'Development of nanoscale zero valent iron- particles-based Permeable Reactive Barriers (PRBs) for wastewater treatment'.
Shino Subramanian will concentrate on 'Developing of packaging materials from oil palm empty fruit bunch fibers', Sanjeeva Gandhi on 'Development of suitable photocatalytic reactor for the treatment of industrial wastewater to zero liquid effluent discharge' and Silvas Jebakumar Prince on 'Exploring abiotic stress tolerance in crop plants carrying Rob5 gene'.
They will leave for Canada this month and stay in the Saskatchewan University for six months to carry out their research in the laboratories, the release added.
