Bangalore, Sep 1 (UNI) More than 1000 exhibitors including leading global electronic component makers, will participate in the four-day 'ElectronicIndia 2008' from tomorrow.
Organised by Messe Munchen International (MMI) India, the international exhibition would witness a broad spectrum of makers of electronic components, assemblies, materials and production technologies showcase their products in the exhibition, Managing Director Klaus Dittrich of MMI said.
The event now returns to Bangalore as the city was the hub of the Indian electronics and IT industries.
He said components, semiconductors, sensors, relays, switches and interconnection technology, passive components, auto electronic components, test equipment and a host of other materials would be on display.
There would be 446 exhibitors, including 50 companies from Germany alone and 1010 participating companies from 22 countries in the exposition.
The ''Indian subcontinent was generating an immense amount of interest within the electronics industry. This offers excellent potential for ElectronicIndia at its new location in Bangalore in the heart of the leading hi-tech regions in the world,'' he said.
