IOL ties with MTNL for CDMA services, to launch mobile by Nov
New Delhi, Sept 1 (UNI) Broadband services provider IOL Netcom Ltd today said it has signed an agreement with Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) to provide CDMA mobile services in Mumbai and Delhi, and plans to launch 'IOL mobile' within the next three months.
The company's 'CDMA Franchisee Agreement' with MTNL to provide services in the cities having the highest tele-density and growth will enable it to offer multiplay services to its customers.
The combined Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) from the service is expected to be over Rs 450 per month with a targeted base of more than one million in the next few months, the company said in a statement.
The company also plans to introduce a host of unique Value Added Services (VAS) enhancing the multiplay services, which comprises of mobile, data card, desktop CDMA phone, FCC, IPTV, broadband and VOIP.
