INLD stalls presentation of report against Chautala
Chandigarh, Sep 1 (UNI) The members of the opposition Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) today created ruckus in the Haryana Assembly and stalled presentation of a special report of the Priveleges Committee against party supremo Om Prakash Chautala.
Speaker Raghuvir Singh Kadian had to defer till tommorrow the presentation of the special report in the matter of the contempt of the priveleges committee arising out of ''disorderly and disrespectful conduct'' of Mr Chautala while appearing before the committee on July two with regard to a breach of privelege against him.
When the committee chairman Karan Singh Dalal was about to read the special report in the house, the INLD members came in the well of the House and raised slogans against the Bhupinder Singh Hooda government.
Despite several pleas made by the Speaker to pacify them, the INLD members led by Mr Sushil Kumar Indora continued shouting slogans against the government forcing the Speaker to defer the tabling of the report till tomorrow. Mr Chautala had left the House earlier.
The INLD members also staged walkout from the House twice today.
They walked out from the House during the question hour, saying that Mr Indora had not been allowed to ask a supplementary on a question asked by him on the entry tax.
They staged another walkout in protest against repeated interruptions by the treasury benches when Mr Indora was speaking on a motion congratulating the Indian Olympic stars.
