I not only saved money on chemical fertiliser but also earned by selling earth worms", he added.

Mr Teggeli said that the farmers are now realising the importance of organic farming as there is shortage of chemical fertilisers.

Besides in case of crop failure due to scanty rain fall, the farmers can earn money by selling the wormy compost to other farmers.
