VHP-Bajrang Dal, LJP workers clash in Ajmer
Jaipur, Aug 30 (UNI) One Lok Janshakti Party(LJP) activist was injured and one vehicle damaged in a clash between the activists of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad(VHP) and Bajrang Dal and the LJP at the Ajmer Collectorate today.
Some activists of the pro-Hindu outfits, VHP and the Bajrang Dal, went to the Collectorate to submit a memorandum to the Ajmer Collector in protest against the reported statement by Union Steel Minister and LJP chief Ramvilas Paswan during his speech in Pushkar yesterday, in which he had demanded a ban on the activities of the Bajrang Dal.
The trouble began when these Hindu outfits' supporters clashed with a group of LJP workers who were present there.
At least one jeep was damaged during the clash, police sources said. However, an LJP spokesman alleged that the workers of the Hindu outfits had damaged a number of vehicles of the LJP workers.
