Rajasthan implements 5-day week for state govt offices
Jaipur, Aug 30 (UNI) The Rajasthan Cabinet has approved the state government's proposal for implemention a five-day week pattern in all state government offices with effect from September 1.
The Cabinet cleared the proposal in this regard at a meeting here this afternoon. With this, state government offices will work from Monday to Friday between 0930 and 1800 hours with a 30-minute lunch break, government spokesman and PWD Minister Rajendra Singh Rathore told mediapersons here.
Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje had announced her government's move to implement the five day week at the Independence Day function in Bikaner.
