Mansoon active over Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 30 (UNI) The South West Mansoon has been active over Kerala and rain occurred at few places in Lakshadeep.

Konni reported an isolated heavy rainfall of seven cm, weather office said here today.

The other chief amounts of rainfall in cms were Thodupuzha three, Kanjirapally five, Macompu four and Kumarakam three.

Rain or thundershower will occur at many places in the State and the Union Territory.

Heavy rain was likely to occur at isolated places in Kerala during the next 24 hrs, it added.
