CDM demands Centre's intervention in Orissa
Hyderabad, Aug 30 (UNI) Vehemently condemning the ''brutal'' killing of Christian missionaries and others in Orissa in the wake of the killing of a Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader recently, the Christian Democratic Movement (CDM) today demanded that the Centre should intervene and deploy sufficient armed forces to bring the situation under control.
In a statement here, CDM Founder President P A Melchizdek and Organising Secretary T A Lincoln said that the government had failed to control the law and order and demanded a judicial inquiry by a sitting judge into the killings and banning of organisations responsible for the same.
