Jammu, Aug 29 (UNI) The Shri Amarnath Yatra Sangharsh Samiti (SAYSS) today alleged that the government is not serious in solving the Amarnath issue and they are ''doubtful of its intention'' to hold the fourth round of dialogue.
''The administration after three rounds of talks on August 23 sought two-days time for the next round but five days have passed and the issue is still lingering on,'' Mr Leela Karan Sharma, Convenor, Sangharsh Samiti told mediapersons at a press conference here this evening.
Mr Sharma said the Samiti was ''doubtful'' of the administration's ''intention'' in solving the Amarnath controversy by holding the fourth round of talks in Jammu, which were scheduled to be held yesterday but due to an accidental injury to S S Baeloria, the talks were postponed.
The Convenor, however, also revealed that a mass rally, which was scheduled to be held on August 27 was postponed due to the militant attack at Chinore, is now going to be held at Maulana Azad Stadium on August 31.
''Masses from all over the Jammu division are invited to participate in a mass rally on August 31 at 1100 hrs while saints and gurus from all over the country would also be taking part in it,'' Mr Sharma said.
''Swami Nrityagopal Daasji, Hans Dassji Maharaj (Haridwar), Mahant Ram Prakash and Sant Gurdeep Giriji (Punjab) and Sadhwi Ritambhara will be gracing the occasion by delivering and addressing religious sermons among the visitors,'' the Samiti leader said.
