Dantewada (Chhattisgarh), Aug 29: Chhattisgargh government has been provided helicopters to state officials for making 2,024 photo electoral identity cards in Naxal-affected Jagarguda area, official sources said today.
Jagargua, 70 km from here, was dominated by the ultras and the only means for government officials to reach area was through helicopters only.
A team of officials and a photographer were sent to Jagarguda today. Meanwhile, nine relief camps were also set up in the area.
Earlier, state government had provided copters for high school and higher secondary class students to reach here for their examinations. Similarly, choppers also delivered ration to police department every month.
