Governor launches signature campaign for national integration
Mumbai, Aug 29 (UNI) Maharashtra Governor S C Jamir today launched a signature campaign for harmony and national integration, against terrorism at Raj Bhavan, here.
The Citizens' Council for a Better Tomorrow (CCBT), headed by former city sheriff F T Khorakiwala, has organised the campaign to involve citizens in the fight against terrorism.
Mr Jamir signed a banner to mark the beginning of the campaign.
CCBT is preparing a five km long banner having signatures of eminent personalities, including academicians and celebrities from sports, corporate world and Bollywood.
The banner will then be put up at important railways stations in the metropolis to get the signatures of the general public.
