Dalai Lama to Join mass fasting and prayers tomorrow
Dharamshala, Aug 29 (UNI) Dalai Lama, the Tibetan spiritual leader and temporal head, who was rushed to a Mumbai hospital from here yesterday with complaints of uneasiness and exhaution, today declared that he would join the 12-hour global fasting and prayers tomorrow for peace and freedom.
After conducting a numaber of medical tests, the doctors of Leelawati hospital have stated that there was absolutely no cause for concern regarding his health, a press release of the Dalai Lama's office said here today.
''All that he needed was a good rest'', the doctors have assured his attendants and thus the Dalai Lama would join from Mumbai in the global service being organised in Dharamsala and elsewhere tomorrow by the Tibetan Solidarity Committee, the release added.
