Shimla, Aug 29: If Pakistan needs Indian Government's help in strutting out terrorism, we are happy to help, asserted BJP President Rajnath Singh. He has urged Pakistan to dismantle its terrorist infrastructure.
"Pakistan should take initiative in dismantling the terrorist training centers (in Pakistan). If they want any help in doing so the Indian Government should cooperate," Singh told reporters on Thursday, Aug 28 evening. Attacking the Central Government for failing to tackle a host of problems, including vexed ones like terrorism and inflation, he said issues like Amarnath shrine forest land issue had the potential of promoting instability and communal disharmony of not resolved promptly.
Reiterating his party's support to the Sri Amarnath Sanghrash Samiti (SASS), which is spearheading the struggle to reclaim the forestland, Singh demanded restoration of the land to the Amarnath Shrine Board.
The BJP also condemned Congress spokesperson Manish Tiwari for labelling the Hurriyat Conference and the Amarnath Sangharsh Samiti as two sides of the same coin.
Rajnath was in Shimla to meet activists of the party who had assembled for a three-day training camp, which began on Thursday.
