Nashik, Aug 29 (UNI) Bharat Jagruti Morcha (BJM), an Ahmedabad- based organisation, will organise a two-day Maha Sant Sammelan and grand Hindu Mahasabha here from August 31.
''As many as 108 Hindu saints and priests, besides 3.5 lakh Hindu devotees, will participate in this mega event,'' BJM national chief Ajay Patel said here yesterday.
The saints will provide guidance on various issues. The main aim of the Mahasabha is to create awareness among the Hindus about various attacks on their religion and efforts to malign various saints such as Jagatguru Shankaracharya Jayendra Saraswati, Narendra Maharaj, Satya Sai Baba, Ayurvedacharya Ramdev Baba, Asaram Bapu and others, he added.
Prominent among those who will be present for the event include Sant Shree Swamipanandji Maharaj (chief of 1,008 Akhada Parishad), Baba Adityanath from Gorakhpur and former BJP MP Dilip Singh Judeo.
Asaram Bapu, BJP president Rajnath Singh, Maharashtra party unit president Nitin Gadkari, Shiv Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray were also likely to attend the Mahasabha, Mr Patel added.
