UAE-based company keen to invest in Tripura
Agartala, Aug 28 (UNI) The United Arab Emirates-based Techmate International Township Investment, an IT business group, has sought help from the Tripura government to invest for setting up International Medical City, Knowledge City and Global Village in the state.
State Industry Minister Jitendra Choudhury said here today that Tech Group consultant Shamrock Consultancy had already visited the state and made a survey on investment opportunity and sought appointment with the state Cabinet for direct interaction on the project.
In a letter, Shamrock Consultancy stated that CEO and Director of Techmate, with 100 per cent stake-holding of the ruler of Ajam in UAE, Dr Abdul Gafoor was interested in investment for medical care and urban amenities, education and IT sector to facilitate Bangladesh and other neghibouring countries, Mr Choudhury said.
He pointed out that the Tripura government always welcomed any investment, which would fulfill the state's demand for employment generation, resource mobilisation and infrastructure development, adding that the date for the Techmate meeting was not yet finalised.
