Puducherry,Aug 28 (UNI) Mr V Vythilingam, who was elected CLP Leader, today said his elevation to the top post after a gap of 12 years was 'a command from AICC President Sonia Gandhi' and he would properly fulfil the expectations.
Talking to newsmen at the Raj Nivas,he said all welfare schemes of the previous government would continue. In fact, some of them would be improved. There would not be any victimisation.
On the financial crisis prevailing in the administration,he said all things would be set right.
To a question on devolving powers to elected local body representatives, Mr Vythilingam said his government would look into it.
