India should insist on 'clean waiver' in NSG meeting: Rajnath
Shimla, Aug 28 (UNI) BJP President Rajnath Singh today said that India should withdraw from Indio-US nuclear deal if they fail to get clean waiver in Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) meeting scheduled to be held in December.
"NSG members want that India never do nuclear test in the future and IAEA inspectors can examine the Indian nuclear installations anywhere in the country," Mr Rajnath Singh said in a press confrence here.
The BJP president, who was here to attend party manifesto review meeting, said that this deal could meet only 5 to 6 percent energy demands.
Speaking on the Ram setu issue, he said the party would not allow to demolish Ram setu and would protest against it.
"The UPA government is presenting contradictory affidavits regarding existence of Lord Ram in the Court and want to dismantle Ram setu, however, our party would not allow the Centre to dismantle the setu," he said.
