Gorhe demands enquiry by Commissioner in Kathoda rape, dacoity case
Beed, Aug 28 (UNI) Shiv Sena spokesperson Nilam Gorhe today criticised the way in which the investigation in the Kathoda rape and dacoity case was going on and demanded that Police Commissioner should conduct an enquiry into the incident.
She told UNI that the police started recording the statement of the victims two days ago after she took up their issue. Under the guise of enquiry, they are hurting the sentiments of the victims, she alleged.
She said the police patil (a local officiating the duty of policeman) of the village was suspended but no action was taken against the police officer under whose jurisdiction the crime occurred.
She also demanded that the village should be protected from the dacoits. Considering the locals fear, the village should be exempted from load shedding.
