Circle inspector send to jail in bribery case
Patna, Aug 28 (UNI) A special vigilence judge B K Srivastava today remanded a circle inspector to judicial custody in a bribery case.
During the day, accused Vhrigu Nandan Sah, a circle inspector of Chandan in Banka district was produced by the officials of State Vigilence Bureau under the charges of prevention of corruption Act.
The designated judge sent the accused to Beur model central jail here under judicial custody till September 11.
The accused was arrested by the vigilence sleuths while accepting bribe of Rs 5,000 from a revenue clerk for recommending some document relating to mutation at Chandan village in Banka district on August 27.
