Jaunpur, Aug 28: Coming down heavily upon Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati, the Apana Dal alleged her government has failed at every front.
Ms Mayawati made tall claims, while coming at power, but a complete anarchy was widespread in the state, Apana Dal national president Dr Sone Lal Patel said here talking to journalists.
The sugarcane farmers were yet to receive their dues from the Mill owners, who owe a hefty sum of over Rs 2,000 crore to them, he added.
''The cane farmers are reeling under utter penury under the present state regime,'' Mr Patel charged, adding the Mill owners should pay off the farmers' arrears as soon as possible.
However, while talking about the forthcoming Lok Sabha election, he said that the party would field its candidates in 300 seats of 14 states in the poll.
The Apana Dal would declare the names of its candidates for Allahabad, Varanasi, Jaunpur and Machlishehar Lok Sabha seats in UP soon, Mr Patel added.
