New Delhi, Aug 28 (UNI) The Capital experienced another warm and humid day with the cloud cover dissipating and the Sun shining clear and bright for the second consecutive day today.
The bright sunlight led to warm conditions in the city even though the humidity levels dropped to 79 per cent.
Though there was a slight drop in the maximum temperature, from 37.3 degrees Celsius yesterday, to 36.8 degree C, it still remained three degrees above normal.
Earlier, in the morning, the minimum temperature rose to 28.7 degrees, three degres above normal.
The sultry conditions in the city are likely to persist over the next couple of days with the weathermen forecasting a mainly clear sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours.
