NTPP Chief calls for Nov 2 as Telangana Day
Hyderabad, Aug 27 (UNI) Nava Telangana Praja Party (NTPP) President T Devendar Goud today called upon the Telangana people to observe November two as the formation day of seperate Telangana if the Centre did not concede their demand for Statehood before November one.
Addressing the first public meeting organised after the NTPP was launched here, Mr Goud urged the Telangana people to boycott Andhra Pradesh Formation Day celebrations on November one and consider November two as the day of formation of Telangana.
Alleging the ruling Congress and Oppostion Telugu Desam Party (TDP) cheated the people of Telangana by not bifurcating the State even after the demand was put before the governments since decades, the NTPP leader suggested the people replace the Andhra Pradesh on the diplay boards with Telanagana State from November two.
Stating the NTPP would launch Telangana Movement from grassroot level from September four, Mr Goud welcomed the Praja Rajyam Party Chief Chiranjeevi's statment on Telangana that he respected the Telnagana sentiment and self-respect of the people.
