Meeting to discuss photo electoral rolls held

Perambalur, Aug 27 (UNI) The Joint Managing Director of TWAD Board and Photo Electoral Rolls Observer Hiteshkumar Makwana, held discussion with the officials of Perambalur and Ariyalur districts regarding the photo electoral rolls here yesterday.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr Makwana said door-to-door verification was in progress to prepare a fool-proof photo electoral rolls for all the Assembly segments notified by the Delimitation Commission in both the districts.

He called upon the officials to speed up the verification and prepare the final photo electoral rolls as per the Election Commision deadline.

Mr Makwana also held a similar meeting with the Tiruchirapalli District Collector T Soundiah and other officials at Tiruchirapalli.
