CPM objects govt's attitude towards Parliament
New Delhi, Aug 27 (UNI) The CPI(M) today took a strong exception to the UPA government's decision not to call the monsoon session of Parliament which, it said, should have been convened on August 11 as scheduled.
The government has convened Parliament from October 17 to November 20.
This, the party politburo said, means that there will not be any winter session either. This amounts to the UPA government abdicating its accountability to the Parliament at a time when Jammu and Kashmir and Orissa are plagued with disturbances.
