Air India felicitates employees for long service
Bangalore, Aug 27 (UNI) Air India today honoured its 241 employees who had put up 25 years of service.
In Bangalore 27 employees were felicitated by presenting mementos, while in Hyderabad 69 employees and in Chennai 162 employees.
This was for the first time after merger, the Air India felicitating its employees.
The two national carriers were merged into on this day last year and the day was observed as 'Nationalisation day'. Similar functions have been organised in all the important cities in India and in the international stations of Air India, according to a release here.
Mr D Murali, Bangalore Area Marketing Manager alongwith Mr.Debasish Golder Manager (Karnataka) and senior executives, presented mementos and citations to the employees which included six women.
The employees represent the different departments of Air India like Commercial, Personnel, Engineering, Ground Support, Security, Finance and Inflight services.
