Trinamool creates anarchy in Bengal : Biman
Kolkata, Aug 26 (UNI) By rejecting the offer of dialogue on Singur, the Trinamool Congress was trying to stall life and create anarchy in West Bengal, Left Front Chairman Biman Basu said today.
Appealing to the Front allies not to be provoked by the agitation, Mr Basu said the sit-in at Singur had affected movements of essentials on Durgapur Expressway and patients were also stuck in the blockade which was a matter of grave concern.
Referring to the Trinamool's proposed statewide blockade on the issue on August 29, he said, '' By any means the party wants clash and bloodshed. '' '' I am making an appeal to the Front constituents to remain alert about the prevailing situation and hope people of the state will protest against move to create unrest, '' Mr Basu observed.
He also condemned the murder of a young lady student of an orphanage run by Christian Missionaries in Orissa by VHP activists and demanded that the culprits should be brought to book.
'' The Orissa government should ensure safety of the minority community and people of West Bengal should also raise their voice against the incident, '' Mr Basu maintained.
