Confirming the activities of Jagan a week ago at Pahargarh police station area in Morena district, Superintendent of Police Santosh Kumar Singh said police was on the look-out for the gang besides constantly monitoring their acticivities.
He said the gang, consisting of half a dozen members with one woman Kamesh, had entered Sheopur district of Madhya Pradesh.
Kamesh hailed from Rajasthan's Nagar village.
''No major crime was committed by the gang so far,'' he said, adding that Jagan carried a reward of Rs 11 lakh on his head.
This gang drew headlines during Gurjar's agitation for Scheduled Tribe status in May when Jagan Gurjar publicly declared at Bayana to blow up Ms Raje's palatial building. Due to mounting pressure by Rajasthan police, Jagan entered Madhya Pradesh.
The gang, which was laced with modern firearms, was involved in kidnapping and extorting money from stone quarries.
