Puducherry, Aug 26 (UNI) CPI(M) Political Committee member K Varadarajan today said the Congress Government in Puducherry should resign and pave the way for fresh elections in the present political scenario.
Addressing a press conference here, Mr Varadarajan, condemning the violent incidents erupted after the CLP meeting yesterday, alleged that the the government was ''supporting'' violence.
Stating that the administration had paralysed for the past six to seven months, he said the government was answerable to the public.
The process of forming a 'third front,' sans the Congress and the BJP, was at the preliminary stage, he said.
