Gangsters gunned down in Bihar
Bagaha, Aug 26 (UNI) A dreaded gangster and one of his associates were killed in an encounter with police at Naurangia police station area in West Champaran district today.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Kamleshawar Paswan said acting on a tip-off, a team of Bihar police raided a hideout of the dacoits under the Naurangia police station.
As the miscreants opened fire, the police retaliated in self-defence leading to the killing of Musafir Yadav and his associate during the encounter.
The dacoits were charged with several criminal cases including robbery, murder, extortion and kidnapping, according to police.
