Ammunition recovered from infiltration site at Kanhachak
Jammu, Aug 26 (UNI) Troops of Border Security Force (BSF) today recovered two UBGL grenades along with other assorted material on the International Border (IB) near Kanhachak from where a group of militants sneaked into the Indian side this morning, official sources here said.
''From the site of infiltration two UBGL grenades, two AK rifle magazines, set of hand gloves and many empty cases were recovered,'' official sources told UNI and added that the entire area was cordoned off and searches for infiltrators are in progress.
''During searches seven more AK rifle magazines and a hand glove was recovered, which might have been used by the militants to escape from electric shock of wires while cutting it,'' an official said.
Meanwhile, Mr Chourasiya, Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) said a group of ultras cut the fencing Cobra wire, barbed wire as well as the concertina wire between pillar No 733 and 734 under the jurisdiction of Kanachak Police Station, some 20-kms from here.

on
the
jawans
