Ticket to one women in every district in MP: Cong

Satna, MP, Aug 25 (UNI) All India Mahila Congress president Prabha Thakur has said one woman candidate would be fielded from every assembly segment during the next Assembly polls.

Ms Thakur said this while talking to reporters here yesterday.

State Mahila Congress Shobha Ojha was also present with her.

Ms Ojha alleged that atrocities against women had increased during the BJP government rule. About 14,000 women had registered harassment cases during the four-and-a-half year rule of the government.
