PSEB slaps Rs 29.52 lakh penalty on marriage palace
Fatehgarh Sahib, Aug 25 (UNI) Punjab State Electricity Board has slapped a penalty of Rs 29.52 lakh for power-theft against a marriage place on Gobindgarh Road at village Salani in this district A team of PSEB officials from Amloh, raided the palace which did not even have a power meter and detected that around 10 air-conditioners were running in the palace through illegal 'kundi' connections.
The team found 97.344 kilowatt load in the palace and imposed penalty of Rs 29.52 lakh, sources said.
