Monsoon showers in few places of Karnataka
Bangalore, Aug 25: Following is a summary of observations recorded by the Weather Office here at 0830hrs on Monday, Aug 25. Southwest monsoon was weak over the State. Rainfall occurred at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather prevailed over North Interior Karnataka. Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Sedam 4, Bijapur, Nagathan 3 each, Nalwatwad 2, Hungund, Sindagi), Basavakalyan, Kalgi, Alur 1 each.
Forecast valid until Wednesday morning: Rain/ thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over the State. Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka, North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Krnataka.
Local forecast: Partly cloudy. Rain/thundershowers likely towards evening/night.
