Dr Koshy awarded for his dental profession
Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 25: India born Endodontist Sanjeev Koshy has been honoured by the Australian Dental Association with its prestigious 2008 Dentistry Achievement Award for his outstanding contributions to the dental profession, especially his commitment to rural patients.
Dr Koshy, a former president of the Kerala Dental Council, is presently working as a Senior Specialist Endodontist at the Royal Melbourne Dental Hospital and Clinical Director, Plenty Valley Community Health, Melbourne.
He told UNI over phone from Melbourne today that he was thrilled to receive the prestigious award at a special ceremony at the Melbourne Convention Centre.
Last year, Dr Koshy and his dental team were recognised by the Victorian Health Minister in the 2007 Health Care Awards as the Most Outstanding Health Care Team in the State of Victoria.
