Hoax bomb call creats tension in Mysore Palace

Mysore, Aug 25 (UNI) Tension prevailed for some time in the famous Mysore Palace following an anonymous caller claiming that a bomb would go off in the palace in the afternoon.

However, bomb disposal and dog squads which rushed to the spot and conducted a thorough search and nothing was found. It turned out to be a hoax call.

The security had been further beefed up in and around the palace.

A number of such mischievous callers have kept the police on the toes following the serial blasts in Bangalore on July 25 which claimed one life and left seven others injured.
