Former professor of Patna University chargesheeted in forgery case
Patna, Aug 25 (UNI) The state vigilance bureau today submitted chargesheet against Amar Kumar Singh, former professor of Patna University in a case relating to cheating, forgery and corruption.
The chargesheet was submitted in the court of special vigilance judge S K Panwar against two people including Dr Singh. The other chargesheeted was Awadesh Kumar Singh, an assistant in Dawood Nagar college at Aurangabad.
According to charges, Singh got promotion by committing forgery and cheating with other co-accused person, from the post of reader to professor, in Hindi department of Patna University.
The case was registered in 2004.
