Puducherry, Aug 25 (UNI) The much awaited Congress Legislature Party(CLP) meeting to sort out the 'tussle' between Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy and the Ministers, today adopted a resolution authorising all India Congress Committee (AICC) president Sonia Gandhi to take a decision on the issue.
Talking to newspersons here, Union Minister and AICC Observer Vayalar Ravi said the CLP Meeting presided over by Mr Rangasamy in his presence and other two observers, Arun Kumar and K B Krishnamurthy, ended cordially and they had a good interaction.
The Chief Minister, Ministers and all the elected and nominated Congress legislators, barring the Speaker attended the meeting and expressed their views, he said, adding that due to some technical problems the Independent members, who are associate members of the Congress did not attend the meeting and were heard separately.
Mr Ravi said the factual report along with the observation of the delegation would be submitted to Ms Gandhi to take a final decision.
Meanwhile, miscreants attacked the vehicle of V Narayanasami, Minister of State for Planning, forcing the police to resort to lathicharge at Kalapet.
Elsewhere, eight buses were damaged in stone-pelting by miscreants.
Meanwhile, as many as 65 people were taken into custody on preventive measures.
