Britannia lauches 'NutriChoice 5 Grain' at Rs 40 for 12 biscuits
New Delhi, Aug 25 (UNI) Country's leading biscuit maker Britannia Industries Ltd today launched 'NutriChoice 5 Grain' biscuits, which will cost Rs 40 for a pack of 12 biscuits.
''In today's fast paced lifestyle, people are either missing meals they shouldn't, or eating food which is not healthy for them.
This new innovation addresses these issues and appeases hunger in a healthy and tasty manner,'' company Vice President (Sales, Marketing and Innovation) Neeraj Chandra told reporters on the sidelines of a conference here.
The biscuit, which company claims to be biggest in size in the industry, consists of five essential cereals namely oats, corn, ragi, rice and wheat.
When asked about the biscuit price, which is more than the standard price available in the consumer market in this segment, he said ''the biscuits size is biggest in the industry and even three biscuits will be enough to appease your hunger. It is different kind of biscuit.'' He said the biscuit contains no cholestrol and zero transfats.
Sweetened with a hint of honey, each oval shaped biscuit is about 17 grams.
Some of companies well-known brands include Tiger, Good Day, Marie Gold, 50-50.
